<description>I am also on the narrow road leading to Catholic conversion.
For the first time in my Protestant-based religious
life, I am beginning to understand what it means
to work out one&#039;s salvation &quot;with fear and trembling.&quot;
Slowly, through studying the early church fathers,
including Thomas and Augustine, as well as
watching EWTN and hearing Father Corapi and others, especially Rosalind Moss, I am beginning to understand, albeit with much trepidation, the deeper
Truths of which I have been denied in my spiritual
growth. Til now, being Baptist, Evangelical, and Charismatic,
I thought that I had it all. But Jesus Christ Himself
drew me aside and said He was sending me to
my own Isle of Patmos where He was going to
remove the chaff from my understanding,
&quot;especially doctinal error,&quot; He said.
I was at a loss. Doctrinal error? What doctrinal
error? Gradually, the Holy Spirit began opening my
eyes to see and my ears to hear, filling me with a
genuine desire to experience the Fullness of the Faith,
starting with the Virgin Mary. From there, I began swimming in this vast ocean of Truth, venturing farther out than I have ever been, wondering if I have reached
that place of no return where one has gone too far
to turn back. Those of you who have traveled this
path, please remember me in your prayers.
